Bringing children face to face with an author and contributing to the curriculum
If you’re looking for a fun, author-led session then look no further! Author-led sessions are a great way to encourage creativity in a fun and exciting environment. Children are learning whilst participating in book-driven activities. I have worked as a Learning Assistant in a mainly Key Stage One setting for four years and have a passion for getting kids to fall in love with writing and reading. I also have a background in drama, which helps to encourage creativity.

School in person visits
During the hour visit I will provide a short reading session, a talk on the inspiration for my books and the writing process, a Q&A, one craft activity (provisions provided by the school), a book signing and opportunity to purchase the books preferably in conjunction with a local bookshop.
Cost - £100 per session plus expenses

Educational book visits: year group session or whole class
I'll provide a short reading and cover how music can inspire ideas.
For the year group work the children will then be divided into smaller groups, and together we will: Create our own character, plot our own story and learn about strong beginnings. This is followed by a Q&A, a book signing and opportunity to purchase my books preferably in conjunction with a local bookshop.
Cost - £75 per Zoom session
Cost - £250 in person, full day plus expenses
